Was it just me or did the judging at Dungannon today need some serious help or what? We couldn't believe how poorly and inconsistantly it was judged. We love the Dungannon show and try to attend each one they have but the man judging today wasn't up to par. And no, it wasn't because we got beat or anything like that, we are thrilled if we place, it was just bad when we see people that we have watched and learned from for years that aren't in the classes we show in, come up...

Has anyone else used agdirect.com to sell their horses??? Apparently agdirect is no more, just tried to go to thier website and it is completely changed, aweful to move around in and way way way more expensive. It upset me....just thought I would share. Maybe just cranky preg side coming out!

We showed our little guy last night and took third place very happy! The place was packed, with people and mules and donkeys, it was very exciting! Did any one elso go? I don't know if we will go back tonight to watch. I thought the little mini mules were so adorable! Makes me want one!

What if Obama gets his carbon tax and we have to pay a tax for every mile that we drive? How will this affect the horse industry and horse shows? Do he and Al Gore think that we can pull horse trailers with electric cars? Or do they even care? .....Wait a minute now....I know....We'll all RIDE our horses to the show!!!!

Feathered Horse Classic Show

I spent the day at the Calsonic watching the Feathered Horse Show- Gypsy Vanners, Drum horses and Friesians. What gorgeous creatures they all were! They had in-hand classes, carriage, and liberty classes today. Tomorrow (Saturday) will be classes under saddle as well as some costume classes. I encourage people to stop in (it's free!). these are the breeds that are still making money for their owners and they are a wonder to behold!
