Okay I'm new at this breed... I purchased a dark choc. w/ flaxen mane and tail Rocky Mtn Filly (2yo) yesterday... I need advice on how to get her registered??? the guy I bought her off of said that he could give me the name and number of the guy he bought it off of in October to get the dam and sire's #'s and names.... this mare has never been registered... How much would it cost and would it be worth registering her if I don't show in rocky mtn shows??? I only show in locals...

Paso Fino

Does anyone know how a paso fino head should be set? Are they tucked or higher headed? My daughter is riding a young horse for a friend. She has him going at 3 speeds but we don't know about the head set. Also, is there a canter?

Anyone ever ridden a Marsh Tacky? Its a rare breed in SC and I've heard some of them are gaited. Just wondered how the ride was relative to the Paso Fino's i'm familiar with.

We are in the middle of a 100 year drought in our area forcing us to sell some our gaited mules. Hay is $80 for a round bale and we have been feeding hay since June!

We had 2 terrific gaited mule foals this year, Tucker is a black foxtrotting mule foal out of my MFT mare and our gaited mammoth jack. He's refined and has a nice rear end for a mule.
