Does anyone have any new foals yet? My Saddlebred mare just had a chestnut stud colt the other day. He is a saddlebred x tennessee walking horse. his mother's a chestnut, father a golden palomino.

We have 2 this year and 1 on the way. My chestnut mini had a gray filly. (Her first.) And my walker mare had a chestut/gray filly. We also have a silver design mare due any day. Both girls are really beauitful and both mom's are doing great.

I have 8 foals this year so far. 3 black colts, strawberry roan colt,sorrel and white colt, 2 grey fillies and dapple gray mini filly more on the way.

Just one foal for us this year.
A black colt with a strip and 2 hind socks. He is out of our Praise Hallelujah mare and Marked Up. Sweet little fart even lets my 18mo. old son sit on his back. Now if he just knew how to balance I could step back and snap a picture. |

Our chestnut Generator's My Papa mare foaled last Monday. She had a palamino/white spotted filly 2 1/2 weeks early. Both are doing fine. The filly was up and about pretty quick. She pushed on mama until she got up to let her nurse. We have foaling cameras. Our 13 YO grandson was visiting. He sat up and did the mare watch. The whole event was very exciting for him. He's a city boy so will probably never get another chance to see a mare foal.

I thinks that greats. Anytime you can get children interested in horses that less to worry about. I had a mare to drop a foal in the middle of the afternoon in front of every child in our part of the world. I was on the phone every Mom and Dad in the area telling them what happened. The mare had a hard time, so at the time I was more worried about my mare. I made the bigger kids drag the little ones in the house. I'm sure I saw little faces look out the windows. Mare and colt where fine. No children needed therapy so I guess it was okay. Has anyone else had one to do that?
